Picture it! with Photopea

This course is for young designers who would like to explore digital art and graphic design. Students will use Photopea.com to learn basic graphic design principles, how to navigate digital design software and create fun illusions, photo-mash ups and design creative ads. Photopea is a FREE online program that works quite similar to Photoshop. It is an advanced image editor that works with both raster and vector graphics.

Each weekly lesson will take students on a journey through several fun hands-on challenges and photo projects that culminate into an exciting student showcase.

Course Begins – Friday, August 25th 

Course Time – 10:00am – 10:45am

Course Length – 14 weeks

Instructor – Miranda Whitley

My name is Miranda Whitley, and I am a graphic designer with a passion for teaching. I was introduced to graphic design 10 years ago using the very same curriculum I will be teaching to you in these classes. Since then I have taken every opportunity to expand my knowledge of graphic design as technology evolves. My specialty in graphic design is logo design, packaging design, and website creation.

I am very excited to offer these classes to you so that I can share my love for graphic design and hopefully inspire some of you to pursue it as well.
